During my art piece I learnt that there are lots of different ways of using maths. I think I did my art piece well because I used lots of Maths and I think I drew my people that are swimming better than what I thought it would be. I could improve on measuring the length of things such as my swimming pool. I could take my learningfurther by adding the flags from the different countries in it.

During Maths we’ve been learning about division. In division I learnt how to divide by decimals. I also learnt how to divide using tens.

I think I did really well dividing by tens. I did alright dividing by decimals, but at first I was completely confused.
I think I could improve on algubra because I don’t really understand it that much and I have no idea how to do ratios so I would like to know how to do ratios.
I could take my learning further by maybe learning about ratios and algubra at home.

What did you learn?

I learnt that when your counting by sixes you can just half it which is three then just double it. I learnt lots of patterns that I did not know before. I learnt that when I write down the timestables I find it easier to skip count.

What did you do well?

I think I skip counted by sixes well because I got up to 336 and Mr Hynes had to stop us! I think I found some really cool patterns while counting up by 6.

What could you improve on?

I could improve on skip counting in my head. I could improve on percentages. I could improve on decimals because I don’t reall yunderstand them that much.

What could you do to take your learning even further?

I could take my learning further by practicing all my different timetables at home. I could take my learning further by learning percentages and decimals athome as well.
